Reservation FAQs

Is there a cost to reserve a table? / Pricing

Our reservations have a one-time fee that covers the reservation cost.  A day pass to our game library is included at no extra charge with all table or room reservations.

What is the process of reserving a table/room?

Reservations may be placed by coming into the store and talking to a retail associate, calling the store at (512) 994-4649, or emailing info@emeraldtaverngames.com. Once taken by an employee, you will receive an emailed invoice for the cost of the reservation that will need to be paid by 10 pm the day listed on the invoice. For less than 24 hours’ notice, please call and our current manager can determine availability.

How long is my reservation for?

We will hold the table empty for you for 30 minutes prior to and after your desired time. Once you arrive, you have your reservation for up to 6 hours. Currently our software automatically books for a block of six hours.

If you do not arrive within 30 minutes of your scheduled time, we may not be able to keep the space clear for you, and we cannot offer a refund. Please call us if you are going to be late for your reservation.

If you would like to book a table/room for longer than six hours a second reservation is required starting at the six hour mark past your first reservation. We will be looking to streamline this process for longer than 6 hour blocks in the near future.

How far in advance can it be reserved?

In general, reservations must be placed one day in advance. For non-booths, same day reservations are subject to availability, and are a manual process for which you will need to call us.

What is your cancellation policy?

To refund any of our tables or the private rooms, we need at least a full business day’s notice. The event room requires at least a week of notice.

Can I bring my own food or drinks if I reserve a table?

Emerald Tavern does not allow for any outside food or drinks on our premises (including thermos/water bottles, or any customer carried beverage containers).

Our one exception is for birthday cakes, which will have a $15 cake plating fee attached, and must be arranged in advance as part of a reservation.
